Lesson 2 - Create a Blog

Okay, I have finally figured out how to sign in to my original blog and make a posting (if that is correct English?). Apparently, when I created the blog, I used my Sno-Isle email address instead of the new gmail address, by mistake. Could someone help me figure out to change my email address?

  1. Chrissie, go to your 'Dashboard' and look at the top for 'My Account.' When you go to 'My Account,' there is a place for you to 'edit' your email. I think that should do it.

  2. Thank you, Cup of Tea, for responding. I did go there, but when I tried to change the Sno-Isle address to my gmail address - it wouldn't let me do it.

  3. I tried editing the my account also and it wouldn't let me do it, but there is a spot where you can enter a secondary e-mail and I entered my gmail there. Also, no one else has access to your dashboard so they can not see your address there. The one way they can see it is if you decide to respond to the other persons blog by clicking that little white envelope to respond by e-mail. A window comes up to email the blogger with your original address. Just erase it and put in your gmail one. I tried it with you but I got a little too wordy (300) max and don't know if it went through. I could try again and you can tell me if you got it.

  4. In response to you question about sign up... I did sign up for my blog with my sno-isle address like I thought our directions said. The e-mail response to your blog that I sent should be in your g-mail e-mail account that you set up. Tell me if it is not in that one. And...about that secondary address... I don't know if it does any good to put down our g-mail addresses in that location. Does anyone else know what the advantage would be?

  5. I can see that this was a confusing start. Mine was too and Michelle came to my rescue.
